The Draft Controls Module in Responsiv is designed to help you translate obligations and requirements into clear, actionable control statements and procedures. Draft Controls empowers your teams to:

• Operationalize Obligations: Convert legal and regulatory requirements into controls that can be implemented in your environment.
• Support Auditable Mapping: Maintain traceability between controls, underlying requirements, and the authoritative sources they derive from.

Drafting Controls

In order to draft controls, you must:

Step 1: Identify an Obligation you’d like to operationalize

Step 2: Click into the three dots next to the name of the obligation and choose Extract Controls from the menu

Step 3: The results will be automatically generated and stored in the Controls Object.

You can view ALL Controls by clicking the Controls tab on the Obligations page or the controls of a specific obligation by clicking the Controls tab on the Obligations Detail page.
