The Policy Scanner Module is an AI-powered engine built to help legal and compliance teams to quickly audit internal policies and procedures against our full repository of content. It is an automated audit that compares external obligations against their organization's current documentation and highlights potential deficiencies or areas requiring updates.

The module integrates with the Responsiv platform, allowing users to then draft remediations, track unresolved issues, and export findings to other workflows or tools.

Policy Scanner Process

After you upload your policies or controls and specify the regulatory source:

1. You must first identify a policy or procedure or other document for Responsiv to analyze
   1. This can be an attachment uploaded from your computer
   2. This can also be a file selected from the File Library
2. Responsiv extracts the relevant jurisdiction(s)
3. Identifies applicable regulatory obligations from statutes, regulations, and authoritative guidance
4. A policy scan is generated laying out the what your policy says, the regulatory requirement, and suggested action for each gap
