The Regulatory Files Module in Responsiv allows you to upload, manage, and track any custom regulatory content that is relevant to your organization. Regulatory Files can include laws, rules, regulations, guidance documents, or other authoritative materials that are not already part of Responsiv’s core repository.

Once uploaded, these files are treated just like any other regulatory content in Responsiv: you can link them to obligations, extract requirements, draft controls, and run research against them.

Key Use Cases

• Custom Regulations: Upload regional or industry-specific regulations that aren’t included by default.
• Internal Guidance: Store internal compliance standards or policies that have regulatory force within your organization.
• Contractual Requirements: Treat complex contractual obligations as regulatory content to track them alongside laws and rules.

Adding Regulatory Files

You can add Regulatory Files in two ways:

Option 1: From the Regulatory Files Object

1. Navigate to Regulatory Files in the main navigation.
2. Click + Upload Files from the action button in the top right corner.
3. Upload the document (PDF or Word formats).
4. Save the file.

Option 2: From an Obligation

1. Open an existing Obligation.
2. In the Regulatory Files tab, click + Upload Regulatory File.
3. Save. The file will automatically be linked to the Obligation.

Once uploaded, Regulatory Files can be Used as source material for:
