The Jurisdictions field selects from one of Responsiv’s prepopulated jurisdictions
The Citations field is a direct link to a statute, regulation, or rule in Responsiv’s curated repository currently covering US Federal, US State, and the EU.
Responsiv has the ability to also add Organization-specific fields to track content that is relevant to your workflow. Please reach out to support with a list of fields to add.
The easiest way to create a new obligation is to click the “Create Obligation” button from the top right corner of an individual statute or regulation.
If you’ve already created an obligation, you can also add an individual statute or regulation to that existing obligation with the “Add to Obligation” button.

Remember to consider whether you’d like to add an individual section or the entire Chapter/Part/Subchapter to the obligation.
In addition to citations from Responsiv’s preloaded regulatory library, you can also attach Regulatory Files—custom laws, rules, or other authoritative documents you’ve uploaded yourself.
